Lissy Taylor is still a teenager but is one of the most experienced musicians currently on Stoke’s music scene. After baptism in country music in Nashville, Lissy immersed herself in the culture and quickly became a cunning country song writer.

Since returning to the UK Lissy has gain immersed herself in the culture surrounding her, and with this her musicianship has grown and evolved greatly. New single Mayday, released on 31st January, is a fine example of this, paying homage to her country roots, enchanting vocals and twangy guitars whilst carrying a very modern UK vibe.

Accompanying video, available to view below, is yet another example of Lissy Taylor’s professional approach to her blossoming career in music and we certainly look forward to watching Lissy’s success after a memorising performance at The Underground as part of Independent Venue Week to coincide with the release of Mayday.

Mayday is inspired by mental health struggles and feeling at war within yourself. https://www.instagram.com/lissytayloruk/ https://www.facebook.com/lissytaylormusician/ Lyrics If you care show me don't shout about it Tears blur the lights and cloud my mind Do you really love me, I highly doubt it What would you regret in my demise?
